The Streets at SouthGlenn Announces Tenants

Greenwood Village, CO – March 12, 2007 – Whole Foods Market, American Screen Works, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy and Dick’s Sporting Goods have signed on to be a part of The Streets at SouthGlenn. Collectively, these tenants comprise in excess of 228,000 square feet. The newest tenants will serve as anchors of the new shopping center along with Sears and Macy’s, which both remain open during construction. The remaining available retail space is under active negotiation. Alberta Development Partners is presently negotiating leases and letters of intent for more than 200,000 additional square feet. Leading national and local retailers and restaurants will be named in the near future.

Whole Foods Market, the world’s leading natural and organic foods supermarket and the nation’s first certified organic grocer, will open its Denver flagship location with more than 58,000 square feet at The Streets at SouthGlenn.

The American Screen Works Cinema will be a 14-screen theater with stadium seating, upgraded interior finishes, digital, high-definition projection screens and sound system as well as expanded concession offerings including appetizers, entrees, beer and wine.

Barnes & Noble, the world’s largest bookseller, will open their Denver flagship store at The Streets at SouthGlenn. The store will be more than 37,000 square feet and have two entrances for greater accessibility. Current plans call for an expanded children’s section and café at what will be the bookseller’s premiere Colorado location.

Best Buy, North America’s number-one specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal computers, entertainment software and appliances, will operate a 31,000 square foot store at The Streets at SouthGlenn.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, an authentic full-line sporting goods retailer offering a broad assortment of brand name sporting goods equipment, apparel, and footwear in a specialty store environment, will operate a 50,000 square-foot store at The Streets at SouthGlenn.

“The addition of five of the premier retailers in their respective categories illustrates the superior retail offerings shoppers can expect when visiting The Streets at SouthGlenn,” said Don Provost, principal, Alberta Development Partners. “The Streets at SouthGlenn continues to attract the leading national and local retailers and restaurants, which will allow us to create a destination unlike any other in the region.”

The Streets at SouthGlenn, a redevelopment of the former Southglenn mall, will be a regional, urban lifestyle destination that will build on its neighborhood character to create a community with shopping, dining, living and working experiences as varied and vital as the city and as convenient and comfortable as the suburbs.

The Streets at SouthGlenn will also feature sidewalk cafés, gourmet bistros and unique women’s and men’s apparel retailers. The new retail center will also be home to the Commons, a one-city-block-long park, which will feature a grand fountain and fireplace, mature landscaping, lush gardens and a playground, and it will be accented by a splendid outdoor café.

Alberta Development Partners is completing the demolition of the former mall and vertical construction is slated to begin later this year.
