Construction Underway on Promenade at Denver West

Denver, Colo. (July 30, 2012) – Alberta Development Partners, LLC has begun construction on the Promenade at Denver West, a brand new 63,000 square foot retail development located at West Colfax and Indiana Street, adjacent to the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood, Colorado.

Alberta acquired the 11.75 acre site, which was once home to the Stevinson Chevrolet dealership, in the 3rd quarter of 2011.

Given the development’s exceptional visibility and proximity to the newly constructed St. Anthony Medical Campus (approximately 2,000 employees), Denver Federal Center (approximately 6,000 employees) and 1 million square foot Colorado Mills Mall, interest from national retailers looking to expand their footprint has been overwhelming.

According to Kathy Hodgson, City of Lakewood’s City Manager, “The City of Lakewood is excited to see the southeast corner of West Colfax and Indiana Street redevelop with a high-quality retail project. This highly visible corner serves as an entrance into the City, Colorado Mills and Denver West area and brings great value and recognition. Promenade at Denver West is currently 80% pre-leased with an exciting mix of retail and restaurant tenants to service the community. To date, all five in-line retail buildings are out of the ground with a grand opening tentatively set for the 4th quarter of 2012.

Promenade at Denver West will feature the following tenants, with additional announcements to be made in the future: Chick-fil-A, Panera, Garbanzo’s, Five Guys Burger & Fries, Pacific Dental, Pro Cuts, Kriser’s, Modmarket, Cherry on Top, Jimmy John’s, Café Rio, Verizon Wireless, Mattress King, Batteries Plus, Bonefish Grill & Carrabba’s Italian Grill.

Promenade will feature several water features including a signature fountain on the corner of Indiana Street and Colfax Ave., with lush landscaping, natural stone retaining walls and a pedestrian friendly environment.
