Alberta Development Partners Selects Brokerage Firm to Assist in Retail Leasing for Two Kansas City Redevelopments
Greenwood Village, CO – November 6, 2006 – Alberta Development Partners, LLC, of Greenwood Village, Colo., has selected LANE4 Property Group of Kansas City, Mo., to provide retail brokerage services for the company’s two Kansas City redevelopment projects, which are The Streets at Metcalf in Overland Park, Kan. and The Streets at Barrytowne in Kansas City, Mo.
Industry veteran Owen Buckley formed LANE4 Property Group earlier this year to focus exclusively on shopping center properties and retailer representation throughout the Midwest. The firm has assembled an experienced team of brokers who, along with Buckley, have led in the leasing, sale and development of more than 20 million square feet of retail properties throughout Kansas City and the surrounding eight-state area over the past 20 years.

The Streets at Metcalf is the redevelopment of Metcalf South. The new retail destination will include upscale boutiques, national and local retail shops and an entertainment complex, as well as office and residential space and a hotel.
The 1.1 million square-foot mixed-use project’s design will complement the community and be a place for all to engage and be entertained.
The Streets at Barrytowne is the redevelopment of the Metro North Mall and will become 2.1 million square feet of retail, residential, restaurant and entertainment space, including a theater as well as a commons area for community events and park-like areas. The Streets at Barrytowne will be a place for friends and family to gather and spend time together in an active, casual and convenient environment.
Alberta Development Partners, along with the talents of Callison Architecture and Communication Arts, have initiated work on the concepts and designs of both projects. The developer expects to submit conceptual plans on both projects in early 2007.
