Alberta Development Partners Breaks Ground on Northlands in Broomfield

Greenwood Village, CO – February 7, 2006 – Alberta Development Partners, LLC, has broken ground on Northlands. Located in Broomfield at the intersection of Interstate 25 and Highway 7 and slated to open its first phase in the summer of 2007, Northlands will be a Colorado village-inspired regional retail destination.

“The Denver-metro area continues to grow and northern Broomfield is no exception,” said Don Provost, principal, Alberta Development Partners, LLC. “We believe that Northlands will be a community center for a region that is booming.”

Alberta Development Partners, along with the talents of Callison Architects and Communication Arts, has set out to create an engaging environment where people can connect with friends and family to shop and dine. Upon the project’s completion, Northlands will be home to 1.1 million square feet of retail space.

The first part of construction at Northlands will include the relocation of the Bull Canal, which is used for agricultural irrigation. Kelly Trucking is handling the over-lot grading process. An official groundbreaking event will take place in the spring.
