1992

alberta founding principal don provost completes the company's first retail development in arvada, co.

2003

alberta starts southlands,
a 1.7 million sf outdoor retail,
dining & entertainment complex,
the largest in colorado.

2008

cornerstar, an upscale convenience center built from the ground up by alberta, opens in aurora, co.

2009

alberta completes the massive redevelopment of southglenn mall, creating the streets at southglenn, an open-air, street accessible retail and community center.

2010

alberta acquires simi valley town center in simi valley, ca with plans to redevelop the property over the next several years.

2012

alberta acquires foothills mall which opened in 2016 as foothills, a completely redeveloped indoor/outdoor retail destination featuring shops, restaurants, theater and community gathering spaces.

2013

promenade at downey breaks ground in downey, ca. it will combine retail & entertainment with a history walk honoring downey’s aerospace legacy.

2014

maui mall joins the alberta portfolio, its first u.s. property outside of the mainland. the only tj maxx on maui and a property facelift completed in 2015.

2015

Alberta breaks ground on promenade at castle rock in castle rock, Co., a multi-phase project which started opening in 2016.

2016

Alberta grand opens Foothills.  Promenade at Castle Rock & Promenade at Downey also open.  Simi Valley Town Center completes phase 1 of it's transformation.

2017

The Local, a mixed-use project in Tempe, AZ featuring Whole Foods and luxury apartments will break ground.

2018

ACQUIRED PAINTED PRAIRIE. 4,000 UNIT, 628 ACRE MASTERPLAN COMMUNITY. AURORA COLORADO

2021

acquired windler. 5,000 unit, 847 acre masterplan community. aurora colorado

2021

acquired cottonwood hollow. 580 unit, 164 acre masterplan community. Firestone colorado
